DETAILS

A feasibility study was conducted among 1067 residents in Pune to assess the viability of establishing a Health and Wellness Cloud Kitchen project in the city. The project, now in full steam, aims to address the mental well-being and the scope for developing skills among young girls and women residing in slums of the Yerawada area in Maharashtra.

Impact360 undertook a Market Demand Analysis that pointed to the fact that the demand for health and wellness food products has been on the rise, driven by increasing health awareness, consumer focus on healthy eating, and the popularity of organic foods, especially post COVID-19 pandemic.

Primary Research Findings

The survey reached out to 1067 Pune residents, primarily in IT and corporate hubs, covering respondents from diverse age groups, ranging from 17 years to 65 years. The findings revealed a positive willingness to consume healthy food among different customer segments like professionals, residents in gated communities, and students.

Secondary Research:

During this phase, we found the presence of restaurants, outlets, and cloud kitchens providing healthy meals in the areas surveyed. A comparative study was also performed on three healthy food joints, focusing on marketing strategies and services, which provided valuable insights.

This study aligns with the objectives of the PARAG project, empowering young girls and women to become self-sufficient financially and cope with mental health challenges, especially post-COVID.
