IMPACTING THE LIVES OF THE URBAN AND RURAL POOR THROUGH LIVELIHOOD DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES
We aim at addressing urban and rural poverty and creating access to sustainable economic opportunities which is very critical in order to ensure inclusive growth and overall prosperity in the society.
We intervene at the grass root level by working with the SHGs through micro enterprise development thereby creating livelihood opportunities. We believe and follow the “Graduation Model Approach” for sustainable livelihood through enterprise creation.
We build sector specific capacity of the SHGs, handhold them to create their own enterprise and monitor them till they are capable enough to manage their enterprise successfully.
We design projects and programmes with interventions that would not only create new livelihood opportunities but also augment the income of the existing stakeholders at the bottom of the value chain .
Our Approach
The overall approach for livelihood development through entrepreneurship consists of identification of the target group through market research that includes survey that captures the socio-economic scores of each individual, secondary desk research that consists of mapping of location areas of potential customers and mobilization of the target groups in order to move to the next step – skill development training, idea integration and actualization of the idea. In order to elevate business skills of the mobilized group training modules and participant materials are created.
The next step consists of enabling them with seed capital, setting up of business enterprise, creating market linkages and the last step envisions the graduation approach of each of the beneficiaries through tracking incomes, financial and social wellbeing, monitoring of business health and diversification.

Through our experts, self help groups, and micro enterprises we provide business skills and technical training that help the vulnerable section to run demand driven enterprise initiatives successfully.
