The Poor quality of education is leading to poor learning outcomes in India, leading to absenteeism and drop outs thereby pushing children out of the education system and leaving them vulnerable to child labour etc. The current education system follows the old age method of rote learning that doesn't enhance creativity, imagination and innovation in children.
For the development of education project our overall approach lies in strengthening the current educational ecosystem through interventions that would build the capacity of the system and environment in which the child learns as well as apply appropriate interventions that fosters the learning process of the child gathering. At ecosystem level the interventions would range from sensitisation of community, including school teachers and parents, strengthening of school committee, child protection committee, SMC, Bal Sabha, improving infrastructure viz setting up of libraries, computer and science labs etc. Interventions in enhancing the learning would include capacity building of the teachers in teaching through STEM & digital learning like use of learning management system, use of appropriate tools and aids, conducting learning level assessment to assess age appropriate learning, monitoring absenteeism and regularity of children to minimise drop outs etc.
