We had a common vision of creating social impact through the lens of sustainability. We were enriched by people who had experiences in working with various development agencies and programs in India and different regions of the world. We wanted to use our experiences and skills to transform the lives of people belonging to the most disadvantaged communities of the society
The team of Impact360 gradually expanded to include more prominent practitioners from different fields and backgrounds. They brought in diverse perspectives and skills to the table, such as economics, agriculture, advertising, and research. They started to work on various projects and initiatives that aimed to provide solutions that can have sustainable social impact.
Now we are a well-established and reputed organization that offers a range of services and products to its clients and partners. We have a strong portfolio of successful projects and interventions that have made a positive difference in the lives of many people and communities. Impact360 Foundation is a not-for-profit that departs from convention to lend newer perspectives and solutions to script life-changing stories for the urban poor across India. Set up in 2020 by leading advocates of change in the Social & Development sector, Impact360’s goals are in step with the UN SDGs and India’s mission of poverty alleviation. Registered as a Section 8 company under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, the foundation’s core competency lies in creating rewarding livelihoods in an urban-poor landscape in partnership with the Government, business houses, NGOs and the targeted community of the disadvantaged, especially necessitous women.
Headquartered in Kolkata and having a multi-city network, the foundation has in its ranks social scientists, researchers, strategists and field experts who string together an enviable team of experts that have built capacities for the organization to work successfully in challenging environments along with stakeholders from diverse domains.
Impact 360 has a research team who are equipped with the expertise to find the pulse of urban poverty-related issues and suggest feasible solutions through associations with public and private sector supporters of livelihood creation. The foundation has been leading livelihood interventions in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune and Hyderabad, and has plans to take similar initiatives pan-India in the near future.

Sunirmal Ray currently serves as the Director of Impact 360 Foundation, drawing from a rich tapestry of over 30 years in the development sector. His vast experience encompasses enterprise development, agribusiness, policy crafting, and trade promotion. With a significant tenure of more than 15 years across renowned international development programs like USAID, World Bank, and EU, Sunirmal’s impact has been resounding. Notably, he held the prestigious CEO role in a government-endorsed national trade promotion organization in India.
Sunirmal’s influence stretches to transformative endeavors in South Asia, including a USAID initiative that granted market access to 15,000 farmers and catalyzed over 8000 MSMEs in Afghanistan, even in challenging circumstances. His expertise is evident in shaping SME policies for the governments of India, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh, and in crafting strategic national export strategies.
Technology-driven development lies at the core of Sunirmal’s approach. He ingeniously partnered with mobile network operators to provide crucial information to farmers, and successfully replicated Indian models in Afghanistan with the support of governments, apex chambers, and NGOs. Holding an MBA and a Research Associateship, Sunirmal Ray’s dedicated leadership at Impact 360 Foundation continues to drive positive and lasting change.

Pratim Roba is currently the Co-founder and Director of Impact 360 Foundation, drawing on over 13 years of combined experience in the development sector and corporate leadership. His expertise encompasses project design, strategic planning, micro-enterprise development, skill-building, women’s empowerment, digital education, advocacy, and stakeholder networking. Pratim’s impactful work extends to unorganized sector workers’ rights, urban poverty, homelessness, and initiatives countering violence against women and children.
Pratim’s dynamic career showcases his adeptness at collaboration and innovation. He excels in advocacy and networking with Central and State Government departments, CSR companies, international funding agencies, public sectors, and NGOs. His technical support contributions to State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs) in Rajasthan, Bihar, and Jharkhand, alongside roles with Social Welfare and Rural Development Departments, emphasize his commitment to evidence-based livelihood programs. Pratim’s leadership is also evident in organizing national and state-level seminars, conventions, and public hearings to drive program awareness and scalability.
Pratim has forged partnerships with renowned organizations like the World Bank, USAID-DIV, J-PAL (MIT) at IFMR, European Commission, OAK Foundation, PEI, Actionaid International & India, World Vision India, DFID, Co-Impact, and USA. In his current capacity, Debasish Ray Choudhuri holds the position of Chief Executive Officer with Impact 360 Foundation, driving impactful initiatives and sustainable change. With a focus on livelihoods, health, education, skills, and renewable energy, his 22 years of leadership in the development sector have touched the lives of 2.5 million households across several states of India. . This journey has entailed collaborations with State Governments, multilateral agencies, UN bodies, international foundations, and major Indian corporate CSR endeavors.
Before his influential role in the development sector, Debasish garnered 13 years of diverse experience in the corporate realm, spanning global MNCs and innovative startups. This corporate acumen equipped him with a unique perspective that he skillfully applies to his current developmental leadership.
Debasish’s academic foundation consists of an MBA, complemented by studies in Development Management, Quality Systems, International Trade, and Computer Programming.
